Danish voice-over services with Danish voice artists ideal for your project
Adelphi's Danish voice-over services offer a great range of professional voice artists to choose from specially chosen for their quality and experience. Recorded Danish voice-overs tend to be around the same length as English, unlike many other languages that are much longer than the original English. This makes timing the Danish voice-over much easier and causes few syncing problems. Our Danish voice-over translations are handled by our own in-house translation department, while our production team edit the audio and add the Danish recorded voice to the video.
At Adelphi, we offer professionally edited audio as a standard for all of our voice over projects. But what exactly does this mean? Go here and we will briefly look at what we do with the audio before we deliver it to our clients, turning the ‘raw’ unedited audio data into professional, clean-sounding voice-over files. Also included in our quality checks are, listening to the audio to check if errors have been made, pronunciation is correct, all the segments have been recorded, the timings are right, files are correctly split and named; we take out overly long pauses and normalise the levels so all the audio is of the same volume.

As part of our Danish voice-over service, Adelphi provides a full translation service to our customers. Our in-house translation team will work with you to fully understand your project in order to effectively manage the workflow from concept to completion. Adelphi ensures that all our translators are professional and work only into their mother tongue. This ensures accuracy.
If the Danish voice-over is going to be used with a video, then the voice-over translation could include time-codes to help the engineer sync up the audio to the video.
Style of translation is important for voice-over translations and should reflect the genre, e.g. if it is for marketing, public information, drama etc. The audio translator will have a copy of the video as a reference and is instructed to translate using a style to match the source material. All our translators have signed an NDA (non-disclosure agreement).
We also provide transcription services in any language, to provide time-coded scripts for translation. The length of many languages will expand when compared to original English and care must be taken in the translation to keep the true meaning of the English, while staying within the time frame allowed. For voice-overs and depending on the language, we sometimes have to edit the English to make a more concise version of the original, this is because the spoken version of many languages is much longer than the English and would not fit in the allocated time-slot. Of course, the edited English is approved by the client before translation into Danish.
