Adelphi Studio is a professional voice-over agency providing multilingual voice-overs and sound recording with a diverse range of foreign language voices. We have foreign language voice artists for every requirement: professional-grade, ‘BBC-style’ voices for commercial use, semi-professionals with a clear reading voice, and quality local amateurs, suitable for community and budget projects.
Adelphi Studio is the multimedia arm of Adelphi Translations Ltd., a translation agency based in the Sheffield with offices in the USA. We supply foreign language and English voice-overs in all areas of audiovisual communication, producing the translations and finished media ready to publish for film, TV, DVD and the web.
Adelphi has established itself as a competitive translation agency offering a quality translation service, as well as in-house typesetting , website localisation services, voice-overs and subtitling. We have worked for clients such as Barclays Bank, Wham Brands, Jaguar Land Rover, Amnesty International and Vidal Sassoon, who all came to us with a variety of translation and multimedia requests.

At Adelphi, we will try to accommodate whatever type of voice-over you require. We will either send samples of artists we already have on our books or search for and record new voices for you to choose from. Please be aware that the price of a voice-over artist will be dependent on their level of professionalism.
Our professionals use their own recording facilities and we screen out any lip smacking or pauses here at Adelphi before sending the mastered files to the client. Our standard-level artists are ideal for low budget productions and are recorded at our own studio. Our team of highly experienced producers, studio engineers, and mixing engineers record the voice-overs and synchronize them to the videos. We produce your video in the format of your choice, complete and ready to publish through any distribution channel.
Voice-over translations
These are a more specialist area when compared to standard translations. Voice-over translations must be restricted to fit the same time-slot as the original otherwise the voice-artist may have to speak faster to make it fit. If the voice-over is going to be used over a video of a different language, then the voice-over translation may include time-codes to help the voice-artist and engineer sync up the voice to the video.
