Language information
Polish has a number of dialects, which can be grouped into four main families: Greater, Lesser and Masovian and Silesian (also considered to be a separate language in its own right by some of its speakers). The actual difference between the dialects is very slight, Standard Polish is spoken by all Polish speakers to such an extent that foreign learners of Polish may not even realize that there are any dialectal differences at all.
