The two main dialect groups for the Portuguese language are Brazilian and European. While these dialects are mutually intelligible, the colloquial form of Brazil Portuguese can be quite different from Standard European Portuguese.
When producing Brazilian voice-overs, we make sure that the artists is a native Brazilian Portuguese speaker: some artists say they can do both, European and Brazilian Portuguese but in practice, this is not always the case and we always recommend a native.
