JD was born in Lisboa. He has worked as both a Radio and TV Presenter.
Between 2003 and 2007 he reported from the United Kingdom as a foreign correspondent for one of the prime radio stations in Portugal.
Since 1989, he has been building up a career as a professional voiceover for corporate films, internet use, commercials, radio, and television.
Being the voice of the National Geographic documentary premiere in 1992 remains an achievement as it meant the beginning of private Television in his homeland. In coexistence with this, has been his involvement with education in the UK, Chile, and Brasil in the role of a bilingual-assistant, language teacher, seasonal tutor, examiner, and director of studies.
