Our Yorùbá Subtitling service includes translating and producing both open and closed caption Yorùbá subtitles, also translations and on-screen text. Adelphi Studio has been producing English to Yorùbá subtitles for over ten years. Adelphi produce Yorùbá subtitles in all video formats such as Mov, MPEG-2, WMV, flv, etc, using srt, sub, stl, fab, sst to mention a few.
Adelphi always produce all their Yorùbá subtitles in-house and never outsource any of the work. Our multimedia department is set up to work on a wide range of subtitling formats and is able to take your original video/DVD and recreate a working copy with Yorùbá subtitles ready to publish for film, TV, on the internet or DVD.
There are various styles of subtitles we can produce. We can advise you on the best option for your video and even produce samples for you to choose from. We also arrange samples of fonts to choose from if required. These subtitles were ‘burnt on’ to the video (open captions) and due to the nature of the video we used a transparent band behind the text for optimum readability.
Yorùbá On-Screen Text Localisation
As well as producing the subtitles we can also localise any on-screen text, motion graphics etc. into Yoruba. Depending on the complexity and how the original text was produced we may require the data package it was made in.
Yorùbá to English Subtitling
Through our Yorùbá to English Subtitling Service, we produce SRTs and open- and closed-caption subtitles in English from your original Yorùbá video. We manage the entire process for you from start to finish, including transcription, translation, proofreading and subtitling.
Yorùbá Subtitle Translations
To produce the Yorùbá subtitle translation, we would use a Yorùbá audiovisual translator who would create translated subtitles in Yorùbá directly from the video in the source language. The subtitle translator would then produce an SRT file that is then be used to make burnt-on Yorùbá subtitles.
By having both the translations and subtitling produced by Adelphi we are able keep quality control high while maintaining confidentiality. Adelphi is a member of the Association of Translation Companies (ATC).
We also offer a transcription service, to provide time-coded scripts for translation. The length of many languages will expand when compared to original English and care must be taken in the translation to keep the true meaning of the English, while staying within the time frame allowed. We sometimes have to edit the English to make a more concise version of the original, this is because the written version of many languages is much longer than the English and would not fit in the allocated time-slot. Of course the edited English is approved by the client before translation into Yorùbá.
Articulate Storyline Localisation Service
We can translate not just the text from your Articulate Storyline course itself but also localise all of the button and slider content too, we also add voice-overs and subtitles to any embedded videos using translated scripts and voice talents we can provide.
