Adelphi always produce all their Punjabi subtitles in-house and never outsource any of the work. Subtitle styles
The above Punjabi subtitles were ‘burnt on’ to the video (open captions) and due to the nature of the video we used white text with an outline or shadow. There are various ways of producing subtitles to display on your video. We can advise you on the best option for yourselves and even produce samples for you to choose from. We can also advise on the best fonts to use too.

Punjabi On-Screen Text Localisation

We also localise any on-screen text and motion graphics etc. into Punjabi. Depending on the complexity and how the original was created we might need the original data package it was produced in.

Punjabi to English Subtitling

Through our Punjabi to English Subtitling Service, we produce SRTs and open- and closed-caption subtitles in English from your original Punjabi video. We manage the entire process for you from start to finish, including transcription, translation, proofreading and subtitling.

Punjabi Subtitle Translations

For Punjabi subtitling translation, our Punjabi audiovisual translator would translate using the source video, producing SRT files that can then be used to create burnt-on Punjabi subtitles.

Adelphi Studio is part of Adelphi Translations Ltd a full service translation agency producing not only Punjabi translations but also Punjabi typesetting and Punjabi voice-overs.

Using Adelphi’s Punjabi translation services for subtitling means quality and timing can be closely controlled throughout the project, ensuring that your subtitles will always be ready to publish on or before your deadline.

We also provide Punjabi subtitling for translation agencies around the world and are happy to work with their translations. As some languages must use specific fonts in order to work with the subtitling software, we can consult with you on your needs and advise you of all of your options. Adelphi is a proud member of the Association of Translation Companies (ATC).

Transcription Services

We also offer a transcription service, to provide time-coded scripts for translation. The length of many languages will expand when compared to original English and care must be taken in the translation to keep the true meaning of the English, while staying within the time frame allowed. We sometimes have to edit the English to make a more concise version of the original, this is because the written version of many languages is much longer than the English and would not fit in the allocated time-slot. Of course the edited English is approved by the client before translation into Punjabi.

Articulate Storyline Localisation Service

We can translate not just the text from your Articulate Storyline course itself but also localise all of the button and slider content too, we also add voice-overs and subtitles to any embedded videos using translated scripts and voice talents we can provide.
