There are many variations in the way Spanish is spoken in both Spain and Latin America, as a result of local dialect and differences in vocabulary and idiomatic expressions. The difference is particularly apparent in pronunciation, so when asking for Spanish voice-overs it is important to say which form is required. We do not recommend using European Spanish artists for Latin American projects.

There is great diversity among the various Latin American vernaculars, but while each country retains its own accents and has some unique vocabulary, residents of countries such as Mexico, Colombia, Peru, and Bolivia generally speak Latin American Spanish.
