Language information

European French is usually divided into two major dialects which themselves have regional variations. Northern and central French (Langue d’oil) which includes Belgium, and Southern (Langue d’oc ) which includes dialects of Switzerland. All Canadian French varieties differ from Standard French in pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar.
